Your one wild and precious life

Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?

– Mary Oliver

Life is the most beautiful masterpiece you will ever see.

Life is precious (*of great value; not to be wasted or treated carelessly*) and it must be cherished beyond measure.

The average life span of a UK adult male is 81.5yrs. So by the time you blow the candles out on your 35th birthday cake, you are 43% of the way through life.

Life is an adventure. And not just the ‘extreme sports’ kind. Marriage is the most beautiful adventure given to us.Raising children and having the ability to actively shape their minds and character is an incredible adventure. Men growing in friendship with other men is an adventure very close to God’s heart (Iron sharpens Iron).

Life is meant to be wild (*living or growing in the natural environment; not domesticated or cultivated*). There are times when wild adventure seems too far and too hard but find what excites you and go after it like your life depends on it. Because it does.

Much love. Rob
